The A Lion’s Pride series has been consistently excellent. Each book introduced fun new characters and situations for them to tackle. WHEN A LIONESS POUNCES is no different, introducing cool new mythology and keeping up with the unstoppable group of lionesses we’ve learned to love since the first book.

If you are looking for a book that satirizes religion without getting too damn dark, THE MANAGEMENT STYLE OF THE SUPREME BEINGS is perfect for you. It makes you think without drowning the reader in morality. It is such a fun read that the 400 pages fly by.
BITCH PLANET: PRESIDENT BITCH takes place in a future where outspoken women are forced to wear red overalls emblazoned with NC for Non-Compliant, and the “worst” of them are sent to an off-world prison. This graphic novel pulls no punches, dealing with issues like rape, equal rights and the treatment of prisoners.
There is so much to love in KING IN WOLF’S CLOTHING, it’s hard to decide which part of this m/m historical werewolf paranormal romance novel I enjoyed the best. Wait, no, I loved Kent.
The events of THE BOY ON THE BRIDGE overlap with what happens in THE GIRL WITH ALL THE GIFTS. It isn’t necessary to have read the first book, there are definite points that will be less fun if you’re not caught up on what happened in the first book.
What I loved best about THE BOY ON THE BRIDGE was the the way the military and scientific communities played off each other.
CATCH A TIGER BY THE TAIL takes place in the same world as LEGAL WOLF’S MATE, and with such a dramatic twist in the first book, I was still surprised by the twist in this one. These novellas are not necessarily a series; they were both released in shifter themed paranormal romance anthologies, so they’re made to be read individually. They are funny, sexy bites of paranormal romance that can be read in one sitting.
SHARP TEETH is one of the best books of poetry I have ever read and one of the most enchanting books about werewolves ever. It is a story about dogs and homeless people. It’s about living on the beach in LA. It’s about picking up strays, both the canine and the human kind. SHARP TEETH is also a mystery about drugs and control, with meth labs and police officers and chases.
I picked up HER WISH because it sounded kinda corny; it had a little-used premise (genies!) and a chesty cover. I was not expecting to be blown away by a well constructed magical world and a touching, realistic romance that bloomed as the book progressed. I was pleasantly surprised by just how much this book made me smile and frown and laugh.
DATING THE UNDEAD introduces a world where vampires are “out” and don’t need blood to survive. It’s also a world where vampires need a website to find dates though, which is a bit strange.

I read this book so quickly, I could barely believe it. The main character’s drive consumed me the way the zombies in the book consume the living.
Tim Kempfer if not a warrior. He’s a librarian on a very simple mission: kill the zombie that murdered his wife and son, and if needed, end them as well. How does he know which zombie he needs to kill in a post-apocalyptic, quarantined Seattle? Easy: his wife’s death was on the news, and it was so graphic and iconic of the disaster that the broadcasts have been playing it on a loop.
