These stories ranged from cute and fun to kind of okay. This is the last anthology for The Otherworld Stories and I liked seeing one last glimpse into these characters lives.

UNDEAD AND DONE was a wonderfully crazy ending to a hilarious series. I love how this series is so unapologetic in its absurdity and quirkiness. In this final book Betsy is running Hell, being a vampire queen, and dealing with the vampire revelation to the human world.
This series was in serious need of a infusion of plot and villain, and it really seems like we are headed that way. Taking place almost exactly at the same time as the previous book, IMMORTAL NIGHTS tells the story of the second Nolte twin, Tomassino, the other tall, dark and beefy Italian heartthrob. It also introduces another human woman who ends up stealing the show.
Abigail was a fun character. She’s a bit run down, when we first meet her, but she’s extremely clever, and is only one year away from finishing her medical degree. She’s cared for her mother until her death, and that has drained all her energy and all her savings. When the opportunity for a free vacation comes up, she jumps at the opportunity to accompany her childhood friend down to South America. She just didn’t count on it being quite the adventure it was.
CURIODDITY starts a bit slowly, like a strange roller coaster. It’s a sluggish start, if well written, highlighting just how boring Wil’s life is at the beginning of the book. Luckily, we quickly nosedive into the action when it starts. I read the first thirty percent of the book in a few days, and the rest in a frenzied seventy-five minutes of madness.
Where SHARDS OF HOPE concluded a major story arc in the Psy-Changling series, ALLEGIANCE OF HONOR starts a new one which manages to both introduce us to new characters, expanding this world even more and to show us small vignettes of the lives of our favorite characters from past books.
WOLF ON A MISSION is a very well written and wonderfully compelling romance which pulls the reader in to the story with characters you grow to really care about. I loved how caring Elias was in regards to taking care of his nephews and admired his determination to find his nephew’s a place to belong.
I loved getting back to Verity’s storyline in CHAOS CHOREOGRAPHY and especially loved that my silent wish was answered which was to have Dance or Die be in the actual story instead of being constantly referenced to. The dance competition reality show was my favorite part of the story and part of this is due to my love of dance competition reality shows.
MANNERS & MUTINY is a wonderfully action packed and fun end to a very unique series. One thing I loved about this book was how it so neatly melds into the Parasol Protectorate series as a precursor to that series’ story.
