Sightlines (The Community Book 3) by Santino Hassell

Sightlines (The Community Book 3) by Santino Hassell

October 12, 2017 Review 0

Working to take down an evil organization is hard when you’re still on the inside. As the 3rd book in a series, SIGHTLINES wraps up the Community plotline. As an evil company, Community seems to get worse and worse with every chapter. Inside the Farm, there’s torture, reprogramming and rape. Despite the bleakness, Chase Payne’s sarcasm and constant dickery keeps the bleakness from getting too dark.

You know a book is good when you start slowing down your reading speed and putting the book down because you’re not ready to leave the world of the story. You’re not ready to leave behind the characters you’ve grown to care for, even if this could be their happily ever after. THE DRUID NEXT DOOR is that kind of story and I’m so glad that it lives up to the first book in the series, CUTIE AND THE BEAST.

OF FIRE AND STARS had me hooked from the prologue, when Deena picks up a hot ember with her bare hands, much to the horror of her mother and sister – not because she’s burnt herself, but because she hasn’t. Deena has an affinity for fire magic, and although it’s easy to overlook in her home country, she’s been betrothed to the prince of a neighbouring kingdom where magic users are persecuted, exiled and killed.
