Review: Waxing Moon (Calling the Moon Book 2) by Sarah E. Stevens

December 15, 2017 Review 1

Tension is a major mood in WAXING MOON which is felt in so many tones from Julie having to deal with conflicting desires for how Julie should live her life to the very real threat of a rival supernatural group bent on killing her son, Carson. Much of the story is action-packed and pretty thrilling to read.

BITTERSWEET CHRISTMAS featured characters that got you invested quickly and kept you hooked until the end.

STAR HERO is a novella sequel to THE CHAMPION OF BARESH (re-released as STAR CHAMPION) which I adored, so I jumped at the opportunity to return to Baresh, the smelly, dirty mining town under a glass dome. Baresh is a world crawling with packs of wild dog-like creatures, mobs of feral children and overwhelming despair.
