COMPELLED is another solid installment of the Coveted series. I enjoyed seeing Natalya’s growth from where she started as a ‘exile’ of sorts at the beginning of the series to alpha female of the South Toms River pack. She is by no means ‘cured’ of her OCD which I liked at some magical being could have so easily magicked it away.

As a prequel to the Coveted series, readers already know where Aggie ends up, but its the journey there in BITTER DISENCHANTMENT that really fleshes her out. Aggie is tough, independent and privilege being the daughter of the alpha wolf. What I like about this series is that it shows people with problems and disorders realistically and it shows that while they don’t overcome their problems they learn to manage them eventually.

In KEPT, the second book in the Coveted urban fantasy series, werewolf Nat continues to struggle with anxiety and OCD. I found it admirable the way she just forces herself to work through her issues and disorder to help her family and achieve her goals. That attitude makes her just as strong as any other powerful alpha shifter.
