DANGEROUS MATING is sort of like the “Goldilocks” of paranormal romances. It’s not too dark, serious, and complex but also not super light, fluffy, and silly. It’s just right in the middle which is great to have in a genre. The plot is fast-paced and action-packed- filled with moments that keep you constantly on the edge of your seat yet infused with enough levity that things never get too dark.

BEARING HIS SINS by Eve Langlais
This one was my not too good rated story, where I lost interest towards the end and had to force myself to finish it just so I didn’t have to label it a DNF. My main issue was Cole.
I was so disappointed by the second half of this book that I only kept reading out of disbelief that a book with such a promising start had taken such a weird turn for the terrible. ELEMENTAL MATING began with an intelligent protagonist, living in Africa, doing her thing. By the end of the book she had not used her brains or her photographic memory in about a hundred pages.
The best thing about BEARLY IN CONTROL is the title. It sets up expectations that there will be puns, bears, and people getting a little bit wild (oh my). Did I mention puns? They’re recycled over and over until a one sentence pun becomes an unbearable two pages of butt jokes. There’s bears, though the bear in question only shifts twice, including when he is found at the beginning of the novel. People getting wild? Well, I suppose if you consider the unprofessionalism of all of the characters then that counts too.
