The gadgets, some of them crack me up and others are totally ingenious. Thanks for the giveaway.

  4. Brooke Banks

I love the gadgets too. It’s another awesome sub-genre that really takes you into another world with technology that feels old, yet new and unfamiliar. =)

oops, I guess I should have read what I was supposed to be commenting on before I posted. I like the technology of steampunk, and the airships.

I haven’t read very much Steampunk, but I enjoy having another world for my imagination to play. There is just a different feel to Steampunk. Really love the cover designs and the costumes.

What do I love about steampunk?

Everything! I love the romance of the Victorian Era mixed with crazy technology, the fashion (definitely the fashion), the mechanics, dirigibles, all of it! I’ve never read a boring steampunk book!

I love the imagery that people use – the colors, textures, and sounds just always seem so alive.

I love steampunk because it’s so strange! I’ve read a few steampunk novels – Kady Cross’s books, the first book in this series, I suppose the Infernal Devices is steampunk, Incarceron and Sapphique… so I feel like I know YA steampunk pretty well, and I’m aways excited to read more!

I read the first book in ths series and enjoyed it – so it looks like I need to catch up with the second, and finally, the third!

Thank you so much for the giveaway!

I have to say I love the clothes and all the gadgets. I read one where the carriage was pulled by automaton horses – how awesome would that be, just think of all the messes we would not have to clean up :)

I makes reading about the past so much more fun! I mean its def not real but it makes it fun to read for me.
